Disney built a ski resort. Well, it melted – go figure. What remains is Disney’s Blizzard Beach. From bunny slopes to black diamonds, Blizzard Beach is packed with downhill thrills and plenty of ways to cold chill. Although the 66-acre Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park has the look of a northern ski resort, it is in fact strictly tropical – and the ice is limited to the soft drinks. Home to snow-capped mountains, side-by-side racing water slides, slalom courses, toboggan and water sled runs and the awesome, 120-foot-high Summit Plummet – the nation’s tallest, fastest free-fall speed slide, visible from almost anywhere in the park. The sandy beach below Mt. Gushmore offers a large wave pool, a lazy river, two snack bars, a polar pub lodge and a pre-teen and children’s play area.

CHAIR LIFT:
Chairlift at Disney's Blizzard Beach water park that transports guests to the top Mount Gushmore. Guests can get access to the attractions at the Green Slope area of the mountain. A real "ski-slope" experience!

CROSS COUNTRY CREEK:
Kick back and "chill" in an inner tube on this gently meandering river that flows around the entire Blizzard Beach Water Park. Bask in the warmth of the sun. Use the Creek as a transportation system to effortlessly get from one area of the Park to the next or just ride along and watch the world drift slowly by. Go with the flow!

SUMMIT PLUMMET:
Look out below! Dare to take the vertical plunge from the top of the world's tallest and fastest free-fall body slide, located at Disney's Blizzard Beach water park. At an exhilarating height of 120 feet, this sky-scraping ski jump of a thrill ride drops you down the slopes of Mount Gushmore at a speed-limit-breaking 55 miles per hour for a 360-foot long trip back to the lower atmosphere. The mountain beckons — don't be a "flake."

TOBOGGAN RACERS:
The Toboggan Racers ride at Disney's Blizzard Beach water park is a "must ride." Race in one of eight side-by-side lanes that toboggan down the mountain. Hang on to your mat and head down the slopes. Exhilarating dips make your charge to the finish line an avalanche of fun. Ready. Set. Snow!

DOWNHILL DOUBLE DIPPER:
This ride at Blizzard Beach pits two racers against each other in a race to the bottom down two parallel flumes. A great waterslide race on innertubes. Get ready for some good ole' downhill fun!

RUNOFF RAPIDS:
Choose from three unique waterslides. You'll be sent twisting down the banks of Mount Gushmore on this Blizzard Beach ride. Enjoy a refreshing plunge at the bottom.

SNOW STORMERS:
Snow Stormers at Disney's Blizzard Beach is a slalom style race. Three waterslides that use toboggan style mats to slide down.

MELT-AWAY BAY:
Melt-away Bay is Disney's Blizzard Beach one acre wave pool. Kids of all ages can play and relax. Enjoy the numerous refreshing waterfalls.

SLUSH GUSHERS:
On Slush Gushers at Blizzard Beach you will Speed down the 90-foot tall Mount Gushmore in a slush-banked mountain gully. Two humps create brisk fun-filled ups and downs on your journey to the bottom of the powder-capped mountain. Launch down the slopes in the shadow of Summit Plummet. There's "snow" where else like it.

TEAMBOAT SPRINGS:
Bring the whole gang aboard Teamboat Springs at Blizzard Beach, one of the world's longest family raft rides. Twelve hundred feet of white water and rushing waterfalls make the twisting, turning journey from the top of the mountain to the bottom a giggling, screaming adventure. Three- to six-passenger inner tubes ensure that the family that rafts together, laughs together.

TIKE'S PEAK:
Tike's Peak at Disney's Blizzard Beach is a kid's water play area. Snow-castle fountains, pop-up water jets and kid size slides, all for kids under 48 inches tall.

SKI PATROL TRAINING CAMP:
Ski Patrol Training Camp at Disney's Blizzard Beach is a great water play area for those kids that are too old for Tike's Peak but not quite ready for the bigger waterslides. A variety of water activities that are so cool!
